What is Frosh Week?

Help with Wildlife Conservancy!
Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy
Led by the Toronto Zoo, the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy is the dedicated fundraising partner supporting vital conservation efforts led by the Toronto Zoo. With the help of generous donors, we support animal well-being, essential conservation science programs, and experiential learning opportunities connecting people with nature.
For this year's Frosh Week, we're helping raise funds for the Toronto Zoo's new Community Conservation Centre - a vital space dedicated to education, research, and real-world conservation action. Located just outside the gates of the Toronto Zoo, this free, accessible space will feature classrooms, labs, interactive exhibits, and new habitats. At the heart of it all will be a new, visible home for the Zoo's Blanding's turtle head starting program, which raises and releases this threatened species back into the wild.
Bethune's Save The Turtles Charity Carnival | Saturday August 30th from 12:00PM - 4:00PM

Come out and enjoy the festivities while supporting the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy!

"I couldn't recommend frosh enough for incoming students. Frosh allowed me to come out of my shell and experience a week of fun activities. It was a good mix of chill activities and exciting big events where I got to meet new people and make friends that I'm still friends with today. I liked experiencing the sense of unity and school spirit, which opened my eyes to the fact that university life can also have a vibrant social life. "

"I actually wasn't planning on going to frosh because my friends from high school didn't want to go, but I'm so glad I went. All of the people I'm very close to now in my 4th year are people I met during my frosh. I'd highly recommend going you'll make a lot of good memories and meet a lot of new people."

"Joining frosh week was one of the best decisions I made. Frosh was such a fun and memorable experience that really helped me start the school year off right. I made so many friends during that week, which made it so much easier to socialize and feel comfortable throughout the year. Since I already knew people from Frosh, I never felt alone on campus. The events were super fun and brought everyone together – it was the perfect way to kick off my university life!"
