THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO CURRENT BETHUNE/NEW COLLEGE STUDENTS AND BETHUNE/NEW COLLEGE ALUMNI.
NO INCOMING FIRST YEARS

Light snacks and refreshments will be available
on a first come first serve basis!
Be prepared to pack extra food/drinks as
well as money to buy food from the
vendors around the beach!

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN FROSH?

To participate in frosh you, will need to purchase a ticket in our ticketleap website which will get you a frosh kit with Bethune's merchandise and will give you access to all of our events.
WHERE DO I GO ON AUGUST 27TH (FIRST DAY OF FROSH)?

Our home base is Norman Bethune college and our address is 170 campus walk. You may park in Tait McKenzie centre or you can be dropped off at the Calumet loop or Thompson road loop
IF I BOUGHT A FROSH KIT, BUT CAN NOT PICK IT UP THE FIRST DAY, CAN I PICK IT UP ANOTHER DAY?

Yes, you are more than welcome to come in any day you want to. Be sure to have proof of purchase beforehand. After purchasing a ticket in ticketleap, you will be given a QR code which you can use to pick up your frosh kit on any other day.
WILL MY BELONGINGS BE SAFE DURING THE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE DAY?

Yes, they will be safe. During the day your belongings will be stored in Room BC 105, it will be lock and opened periodically for you to get anything that you may need for the day.
AM I ABLE TO MISS SOME EVENTS?

Yes you are allowed to miss events. Although we recommend coming to every event!!!
CAN I BRING SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT ATTEND YORK TO ORIENTATION WEEK?

Unfortunately, all events can only be attended by York University students who have purchased Bethune Frosh kits and show the Orientation Wristband.
IF I AM NOT MOVING INTO BETHUNE RESIDENCE ON THE FIRST DAY, WHAT TIME SHOULD I COME TO BETHUNE FROSH WEEK?

You should come around 9 AM for kit pick up and ice breakers. Frosh Week events and lunch will commence at 12 PM on August 27th. Please try to come early so that you can be prepared before our events start.
WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO PURCHASE A FROSH KIT?

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2022 will be the last day for you to purchase a frosh kit.
HOW LONG IS FROSH KIT PICK UP ON AUGUST 27TH?

You will be able to pick up your kit from 9 AM till 1:30 PM in room 202 of Bethune College. We will have leaders stationed around campus to show you the way!!!
WHEN I HAVE ACADEMIC ORIENTATION WILL I BE MISSING ANY FROSH EVENTS?

Academic orientation will be on September 6th at the end of frosh week so you don't have to worry about missing any events!!!
